Under administrative direction, identifies, cultivates, solicits, and stewards major gift donors; develops fundraising strategies; serves as development liaison; supports budget, projects, goals, and strategic planning; provides day to day administrative oversight for the development unit; supervises development staff; serves as lead development liaison to Dean.
Identifies, cultivates, and solicits philanthropic support by developing and maintaining relationships with corporations, foundations and individuals including alumni, parents, faculty, staff, and other key personnel; fosters positive and enduring relationships that produce reciprocal benefits; travels locally and out-of-town to cultivate and steward relationships referenced above.
Develops fundraising strategies and methods or activities to ensure proper acknowledgement, recognition, and stewardship of donors; evaluates effectiveness of development programs and securing gifts at various levels; generates reports.
Responsible for managing a portfolio of a minimum of 100 major gift donors.
Builds working relationships with and serves as development liaison to other fundraising units including Corporate & Foundation Relations, Planned Giving and Principal Giving, fostering a culture of philanthropic collaboration across the university.
Supports the preparation of annual budget and program projects, strategic planning, and goal evaluation.
Participates in committees, boards, and meetings related to donor engagement.
Provides managerial supervision to development staff, including setting strategic metrics, annual goals, and strategies related to fundraising priorities of the assigned school/college. Assists in annual performance evaluation process of development staff in the school.
Serves as development liaison to the Dean in the Chaifetz School of Business and spearheads engagement with the Dean to key constituents; provides fundraising strategies to support key initiatives identified by the Dean.
Participates in special projects and other duties as assigned.

Bachelors degree; supplemented with seven (7) years of related experience.
