The Grants Specialist manages all pre-award functions for grants and contracts within the College of Engineering for the Engineering Research Institute.
Collaborating, advising, and assisting faculty in the preparation of proposals for federal and non-federal agencies; development and preparation of proposal budgets including subcontracts
Establishing timelines, initiating, routing, and approving Goldsheets
Applying editorial expertise and formatting requirements
Utilizing extensive experience in grant and contract submissions to interact with funding agencies and resolve questions that arise during preparation.
The successful candidate will possess strong organizational skills in coordinating multidisciplinary teams to develop complex applications. This position will require additional hours on occasion to meet submission deadlines. All staff members are expected to interact collegially and maintain the highest standards of integrity and ethical behavior.
