Our world is changing, but at HopeWorks, we believe that this difficult time presents opportunity, innovation, and creativity. Since 1985, we’ve not only been minding the curve but we’ve been shaping the curve, daring to dream big – and to manifest big – for those without homes. An example of this shifting is one big milestone for us just this year, as we begin construction on the state’s first single-site project in New Mexico. The only way to end homelessness is housing, and we are a national leader in this endeavor.
Despite this momentum, we will not forget the magnificent responsibility that we have for our entire community, and the disproportionate effect homelessness has on communities of color. To learn more about our support of the Black Lives Matter movement, as well as the important anti-racism work we are undertaking, please read our Statement of Intense and Profound Love here: https://www.hopeworksnm.org/statement-of-intense-and-profound-love/
In the midst of the pandemic, HopeWorks remains steadfast, continuing to provide shelter, mental/behavioral health, employment, and housing services to thousands of individuals and families per year. As we grow in size and responsibility, we are determined to only attract the brightest, most committed individuals who share in our mission and vision for a more equitable future. Now is the time to make a difference. Only those who are brave, determined, and kind will translate this difference into possibility. Do you want to join HopeWorks and be a part of this change?
