Executive Director, Foundations Career Opportunity in Ketchikan, Alaska!
PeaceHealth is offering a unique opportunity for an Executive Director Foundations role to lead the development of annual goals for the programs and projects that support the long-term strategic business plan of the Foundation in conjunction with board members. Your leadership skills are necessary to partner with hospital administrators, medical physicians and caregivers to identify, cultivate and steward donors. Overseeing a direct line staff, the Executive Director will also carry a major gifts portfolio.
The ideal candidate has a proven ability to build, educate and steward the board structure that will successfully implement the organizational strategic plan; support 60-75 major gift prospects and donors; manage the day-to-day operations of the Foundation. Based in Ketchikan, Alaska, your ability to travel is required.
Qualifications for the Executive Director, Foundations include:
Bachelor’s Degree in business or related, required.
Master’s Degree preferred.
Minimum of seven years of progressively responsible fundraising experience on a professional/managerial level preferred.
Minimum 5 years of leadership experience.
Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) or progress toward attainment.
Record of securing six and seven figure gifts
Strong ability to:
Secure leadership gifts ($1 million +)
Effectively communicate with staff, hospital management, community leaders, contributors.
Build and lead a team accountable for achieving the mission and objectives of the Foundation.
