Oceanside Theatre Company (OTC) is in search of a part-time professional Fund Development Director to manage the day-to-day fundraising and business of OTC and manage the Historic Brooks Theater Renovation Project (capital) fundraising campaign (Estimated $650K goal) . OTC is in need of a fund development professional to create a blueprint for organizational sustainability, to direct the board and volunteers in building the long-term fundraising capacity of the organization, manage donor communications and stewardship, and management of the capital renovation project of the Historic Brooks Theater that will enhance not only the City of Oceanside, but all of North San Diego County.
Reporting to the Executive Committee, the DD will spearhead all development efforts and oversee the capital renovation project for the Brooks Theater. In this new position, he/she will build the development and administrative functions of the organization, work closely with the Board of Directors to create fundraising strategies, a long-range fundraising plan, oversee grant submissions, donor relations and steward all gifts.
Requires BA/BS, 5+ years in Development and nonprofit management, experience in successful annual and capital giving campaigns, demonstrated excellence in organizational, managerial and communication skills. CFRE preferred.
Additional Salary Information: 20 Hours per week, 12 months minimum. Potential for permanent position.
