Foundation President, Our Lady of the Lake Foundation
As the Foundation President, the position is responsible for raising financial resources that enhance patient and family services and education services at all Our Lady of the Lake RMC entities as well as offering guidance across all FMOL Health System. The position engages with strategic planning of the organizations and connects with resources, operations and decisions of Our Lady of the Lake RMC. This position also directs, organizes and implements all campaign fund development programs including major gifts, planned giving and special events. The position cultivates individual and community relationships that lead to support for Our Lady of the Lake RMC related entities and targets giving opportunities to identified donor interests. The position engages with strategic planning of the organizations and connects with various operations and decisions of Our Lady of the Lake RMC to determine areas of need that may be of interest to donors. This position reports to the President/CEO of Our Lake of the Lake RMC.
Develop and implement all Our Lady of the Lake RMC development activities.
Plans and manages short and long-term fund-raising strategies, including preparation and implementation of annual employee campaign, annual general campaign, capital campaigns, grant solicitation and preparation, special events, major gifts and planned giving.
Provides leadership and direction to executive staff and Board in managing a comprehensive fund-raising program.
Develops and maintains the process and vehicles for donor recognition and acknowledgement.
Ensure proper controls are in place for ensuring the integrity of the donors resources
Develops a comprehensive approach to identify organizational needs, finding funding sources to meet those needs from governmental and private sources.
Develops active prospects to increase success ratio of gift solicitations.
Analyzes giving patterns and develops benchmarks to measure effectiveness of solicitation activities.
Cultivates new donors and moves existing donors to higher giving levels.
Build and administer the Foundation Board and System relationships
Works with the Board to develop meeting agendas and assure compliance with By-laws.
Recruits and educates potential Board members.
Ensures all required filings for the Foundation Corporation.
Integrates Our Lady of the Lake Foundation activities with applicable Foundation related initiatives of the System and participates with other FMOLHS Foundation Executives in planning and educational opportunities
Collaborate with the Office of Institutional Advancement of Franciscan University to ensure consistency and coordination occurs between the organizations
Manage and Monitor Foundation Resources
Annually prepares and manages an operation budget for the Foundation office.
10 Years of experience in fundraising in an institutional or corporate environment.
Track record of success managing, strategic initiatives and campaigns.
Employer will assist with relocation costs.
