Qualifications and Education Requirements
Demonstrated capability and track record in raising restricted and unrestricted funds through annual giving, major gifts, corporate and foundation giving, as well as public and private agency contracts. CFRE preferred. Ability to set strategy and manage a full team of professionals and volunteer leadership effectively, creatively and successfully. Reasonable understanding and working knowledge of non-profit finance approaches. Experience with public relations, marketing, and communications to include social media are desired.
Ten years of increasingly responsible non-profit fundraising experience, including proposal development, event management, work with major donors, work with Board Development Committees, communications and social media.
Ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, flexible, and committed to the AT mission with strong leadership, administrative, and supervisory skills. Ability to communicate effectively and engage with multiple audiences. Ability to think and work independently, prioritize, and problem solve. Skill managing people, team building, and high levels of organizational skills as well as deep determination and excellent follow through. Knowledge of and familiarity with Public Child Welfare system, foster care, adoption, and mental health highly desirable.
Proficient in Microsoft suite of products with particularly heavy skills in Excel. Experience using SalesForce a plus, experience with a fundraising database required. Must be comfortable with data and able to synthesize data from different sources into valuable reports.
