Job Description: Reporting to the Vice President of Development, you will provide overall guidance and strategic direction for the Foundation’s gift planning program. Responsibilities include identification, cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship of life income gifts, bequest expectancies, realized bequests, certain gifts-in-kind, real estate gifts, and other complex assets in conjunction with the Foundations leadership team and Baptist Health’s finance, legal and real estate departments.

Master’s or Juris Doctorate degree and 5 years of experience required.
Knowledge of estate planning, including wills, trusts, charitable gift annuities, retained life estates and estate and gift tax laws.
Experience using planned giving or fundraising software, preferably PG Calc’s Planned Giving Manager and Raiser’s Edge.
Ability to provide leadership, mutual respect and work effectively in diverse groups; as well as work independently, conduct research and analysis, and project management.
Demonstrated track record of success in leading, mentoring, and inspiring staff to achieve goals and fostering an attitude of staff responsiveness.
Demonstrated proficiency in written and verbal communication, including the ability to make compelling presentations and strong project management skills.
The position requires an ability and willingness to work outside normal business hours, including some evenings and weekends.
