The University of Wisconsin-Parkside invites applications for the position of Associate Vice Chancellor University Development and Alumni Relations.
The Associate Vice Chancellor, University Development and Alumni Relations reports directly to the Chancellor. This person serves as the institutional officer providing leadership, development and management of a coordinated development, engagement and fundraising initiatives.
The University Development areas are responsible for leading dynamic philanthropic, corporate engagement, alumni relations and Foundation Board engagement to assist the University in supporting the long-term sustainability of its educational mission and distinctive position in public higher education. Development at the University of Wisconsin-Parkside integrates fundraising, donor stewardship, corporate engagement, alumni relations, and partners with the UW-Parkside Foundation. Development includes major gifts, annual giving, planned giving, corporate engagement, and foundation relations as well as donor cultivation and stewardship.
Education, Experience, Training And/or Certifications
At least ten years of progressively responsible managerial/leadership experience in a complex organization
Demonstrated success leading Advancement, Development and/or Fundraising initiatives
Experience in at least one or more of the following program areas: capital/individual giving, annual giving, corporate and foundation relations, and/or planned giving.
Demonstrated commitment to diversity and skill to foster personal and effective relationships with diverse groups at the University and the public.
Demonstrated experience in crafting and presenting high profile communications and presentations.
