Vivo has an exciting opening for an enthusiastic, highly organized people person with strong communication skills for the position of Coordinator, Philanthropy. This cause driven leader will be seeking an opportunity for high impact in supporting our cause of raising healthier generations.
As a key member of the Vivo team the Coordinator, Philanthropy will provide project support for operational and capital campaign fund development initiatives. This position will assist with fundraising and friendraising by cultivating meaningful relationships within our community and beyond.

What You’ll Do:
Lead the development of non-capital campaign proposals, including writing effective proposals, coaching the broader Vivo team on case development and coordinating with any outside contract staff as necessary.
Collaborate with finance and project leads to ensure proper stewardship of gifts and grants, including final reporting.
Lead the strategy and execution for Vivo’s annual giving program.
Support the capital campaign team and cabinet as needed.
Provide administrative assistance as needed
What Your Talents Include:
Relevant post-secondary education, CFRE designation considered an asset.
5+ years experience in fundraising and fund development in the non-profit sector.
Proven track record of identification, cultivation, solicitation and stewardship of donors.
Strong management, planning, and project management skills related to setting and monitoring goals, developing plans and timelines, and measuring success.
Clear, concise and compelling communication ability, both verbal and written.
Ability to coach, lead and inspire others with a strong emphasis on synthesizing information and idea clarification.
Highly organized with strong computer skills including Microsoft Suite and fundraising database software.
