The Stormont Vail Foundation (SVF) President and Executive Director reports to an independent board of trustees (appointed by the Stormont Vail Health (SVH) Board. It provides direction to all philanthropic activities in support of SVH. The incumbent is responsible for leading all areas of fund raising and related activities, carrying out the strategic planning process, working with trustees, supervising Foundation staff, and building and maintaining positive relationships between the Foundation and internal and external constituencies.
Bachelor’s degree in Management, Finance or related field (graduate degree preferred); at least 5 years demonstrated experience in leadership and administration, and success in fund development; experience managing major capital campaigns and/or major fund drives in excess of $1 million; experience in health care environment; professional training in fund raising preferred; Certified Fund Raising Executive (CFRE) credential preferred.
Stormont Vail is known for its network of health care providers, primary and specialty clinics, a 586-bed acute care hospital and services, and a comprehensive electronic medical record. The organization cares for both inpatients and outpatients, from a specialized level of infant care to a variety of older adult services.
